orphanage  update  2024

After 19 years of faithfully operating a weekly, then daily, Feeding Shelter, we are now in a new realm of serving.  Due to a variety of reasons (drug war violence and death, poverty, alcoholism and drug abuse, prostitution, child abuse and neglect), we have now become an ORPHANAGE.   The licensing process was begun in 2019.  Covid halted the process due to government offices closing and staffing becoming very difficult, even into 2021.  We are still "in process" becoming "official", and in the meantime our daily outreach (food, schooling, homework, meeting many basic needs, Bible studies, youth and childrens activities and more) continue.

weekly mission event

Our ministry center is staffed by a handful of  longtime serving, faithful adults who continue to tirelessly work to serve those who come.  Weekly gatherings provide a meal, a Food Gift Basket for local families, the Truth and Hope of the Gospel and a lot of love.

Our most recent project was to build a dormitory at our Mission Center in Juarez.  For 15 years, this location has operated as our main Feeding Shelter, serving over 1500 meals monthly.  Due to the violent drug war in Mexico over the past 10 years, there are thousands of children (in Juarez alone! but throughout Mexico) who are now orphaned.  We are caring for 35 children who are victims of neglect, abuse, dire poverty, alcohol and drug addicted parents, and noone to care for them.  God has brought three dozen of these beautiful children into our care.
